The sacrament of Matrimony signifies the union of Christ and the Church.
It gives spouses the grace of the sacrament thus perfects the human love of the spouses, strengthens their indissoluble unity, and sanctifies them on the way to eternal life. Your decision to be married in the Catholic Church is a beautiful decision because you both have been created in the image and likeness of God, and are making the decision to live your life according to God’s plan. St Mark’s assists parishioners in planning and preparation for making a lifelong commitment to one another within the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
